Coach Tony brings years of coaching, education, and counseling experience to AllStar Play.

As an accomplished athlete, he was a 3-time State Champion wrestler and earned High School All-American honors. He continued his wrestling career at the collegiate level, competing for George Mason University and McDaniel College. Coach Tony captured three All-Conference Championships and was a 2-time NCAA All-American. His outstanding achievements have earned him induction into three Hall of Fames: Magruder High School, McDaniel College, and the State of Maryland.

He has coached wrestlers at all levels - Varsity and JV high school teams in both public and private schools, club squads, and summer camps - helping athletes develop their skills, confidence, and character.

Beyond his athletic accomplishments, Coach Tony holds a master’s degree in school counseling, making him highly attuned to the social and emotional needs of youth.

 

Tony is a Montgomery County native who still lives in the area today, raising a young family.
